August 12, 2017: post-wedding photos on Mackinac Island, MI
My wife Laura and I traveled to northern Michigan a couple weeks ago. While we were there, we visited Mackinac Island with Laura's sister Julia and Julia's husband Ryan. I shot their wedding in Alabama earlier this summer (photos here). They wanted some more portraits, so we took a quick ferry across Lake Huron.
All my main Sigma Art lenses got a chance to shine during this session. The 24mm, 50mm, and 85mm are like the Holy Trinity of my arsenal. :-)
Laura found a clean isolated beach while we were biking around the perimeter. I'm pretty glad with the way these turned out. We don't have too many scenes like this in central Ohio. :-)
Thanks for reading this quick update. I'll be back soon with more good stuff. Have a great weekend, you cool people.
