June 2, 2017: proposal in downtown Columbus, OH
Justin and Amy met at work and started dating a while later. They're both huge fans of Columbus, so Justin decided he wanted to incorporate the city's skyline into his proposal photos. I was a little nervous about shooting "the kneel" with a wide angle lens (24mm, to be exact), but I think it worked out all right.
I haven't met many people who laugh as much as Amy does. Her joy about the proposal was pretty awesome to witness.
Once we finished at the bridge where it all went down, we took some engagement-style photos in the parks along the Scioto River. The overcast skies provided the perfect light for the early shots.
Justin and Amy are moving to Seattle this summer, but they'll be back in Columbus for their wedding in 2018. Have fun in the Pacific Northwest, you two!
